The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Washington looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jalinski clinches.
Washington wants a takedown but no success here.
Washington is trying to break free.
Washington drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jalinski keeps control of Washington as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Washington tries to break the clinch but Jalinski is controlling the position.
Washington tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jalinski just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Washington tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jalinski is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Washington wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jalinski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jalinski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jalinski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jalinski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Washington wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A helpless look comes across Washington 's face. He knows he's trapped as Jalinski lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
