Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gus Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Hathaway looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gus Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Hathaway!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hathaway doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hathaway throws a head punch that misses.
Taylor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hathaway just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hathaway lands a shoulder strike.
Taylor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hathaway walks away with a smile on his face. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hathaway takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hathaway takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Taylor pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Taylor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Hathaway with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Taylor to score with a decent uppercut.

Taylor's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Taylor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hathaway is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hathaway wants to stand up but Taylor is controlling him.
Taylor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Taylor thows a body shot but no joy.

Nice uppercut lands for Taylor. That snapped Hathaway's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Taylor.
Taylor looks to land a left hand but Hathaway moved out of range nicely.
Taylor stuns Hathaway with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hathaway takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Taylor throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Taylor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Taylor throws a body punch but Hathaway moves out of range.
Taylor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Taylor loads up on a big right hand but Hathaway slips the punch.

Hathaway has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Taylor.

Hathaway chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Taylor can pounce on him.

Taylor cracks Hathaway with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hathaway falls to his knees and Taylor doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
