Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalien Gr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gr has chosen Walk as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Gr. No joy for Tylor on that attempt. Tylor moves into the clinch. Tylor prevents Gr from breaking the clinch. Tylor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tylor prevents Gr from breaking the clinch. Gr breaks the clinch.
Gr throws a sloppy head kick and Tylor moves out of range easily. Tylor tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tylor fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Tylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gr fails to land with a series of punches.
Tylor blocks a head kick by Gr.
Tylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gr's waist but Gr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tylor off to one side. Tylor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gr clinches with his opponent.
Gr stalling in the clinch but Tylor improves position. Gr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tylor has him pressed against the cage. Gr crunches a lovely knee into Tylor's ribcage. Tylor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gr gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tylor gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tylor jumps guard but Gr stands there with Tylor around his waist. Tylor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gr breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tylor moves into the clinch. Tylor throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gr looking to slow down the pace here. Tylor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gr uses from the top position. Tylor is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tylor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tylor is breathing heavily. Gr won't allow Tylor to sweep him here. Tylor is trying to keep Gr in close.
Tylor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gr would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Tylor keeping full guard, as Gr tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gr wants to stand but Tylor is controlling his posture from full guard. Tylor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Gr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Gr wants to clinch but Tylor slips to the side and Tylor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gr's guard now. Gr can't keep his opponent in guard - Tylor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gr is trying to get back to full guard. Tylor is looking for a kimura but Gr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tylor to get the leverage. Gr trying to control from the bottom.
Tylor tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tylor is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gr is in trouble now - Tylor has advanced to mount! Tylor sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tylor wants to control the pace but Gr is squirming around nicely. Gr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gr tries to lock up and control but Tylor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tylor controlling the position easily from mount. Tylor throwing strikes here but Gr is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gr is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tylor trying to control but Gr is having none of it. Tylor looking for a guillotine from mount but Gr is having none of it. Gr is trying to escape the mount but Tylor keeps good control and instead manages to take Gr's back.
Tylor patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Tylor somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Gr trying to control the action but Tylor just sinks the hooks in. Gr holding both Tylor 's hands and preventing any damage. Tylor is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gr has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Tylor dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gr to the mat! Gr manages to get full guard. Gr wants to stand and escape but Tylor is having none of it. Tylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Gr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tylor forces his way into half guard. Tylor is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gr! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tylor in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tylor trying to control but Gr is having none of it. Tylor looking to control and managing it successfully. Tylor working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Gr is breathing heavily.

Tylor content just to control the position here. Gr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tylor lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tylor avoids the attempt from Gr to control. Tylor landing punches. Tylor working away from the top, dropping strikes. Gr tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tylor fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tylor moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gr has worked his arm free - good work by Gr!
Gr tries to improve position but can't. Gr manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tylor's best efforts. Tylor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Tylor is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gr reverses the position - he's now on top in Tylor's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tylor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gr would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Tylor working for a triangle but Gr defends it easily.
Tylor is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tylor is trying to control the position but Gr postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gr trying to control the position from guard on top but Tylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gr trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tylor's guard. Tylor looking for a triangle here. Gr is fighting it but it looks tight! Tylor pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gr is tapping out - this one is all over!
