Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seymour Butts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrius Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Seymour Butts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demetrius Silva! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butts feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Silva working for a triangle but Butts defends it easily.
Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butts gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Butts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Butts advances to half guard. Butts is working for a submission of some sort.
Butts is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Butts is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Silva trying to hold on to Butts's head to control him but Butts postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butts is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now. Silva has one foot on Butts's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Silva with a poor takedown and Butts counters with a lovely shot to the body. Butts tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Butts counters with a nice double leg into guard. Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Silva looks gassed! Butts is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back! Silva is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Butts off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Butts is looking for the choke from the back position but Silva is controlling his hands well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva turns into Butts and is now in his guard.
Silva trying to control but Butts is working from the bottom. Butts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butts swivels though and keeps the full guard. Butts has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silva doesn't defend quickly enough and Butts has managed to lock this one up! Can Silva escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Butts on a fantastic submission victory.
