Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jameer Tier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jailton Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moreira.
Moreira blocks a head kick by Tier.
Moreira shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tier manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Tier trying to keep a closed guard but Moreira is proving a slippery customer.
Tier wants to sweep but no luck.
Tier is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tier is looking to stand up but Moreira isn't so interested in that idea.
Moreira stays in close to Tier's body and controls the position.
Tier wants to stand but Moreira is controlling the position.
Moreira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Tier is looking to sweep but instead, Moreira has passed into half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Moreira fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Moreira or perhaps it was just good defense by Tier which made him look bad.
Tier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moreira.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tier pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tier looks to land a combination but Moreira avoids it well.
Tier closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Moreira tries to buck Tier off but Tier is having none of it.
Tier throwing strikes but Moreira manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Tier tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tier is trying to escape the position but Moreira is controlling the position.
Moreira stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Moreira closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tier did well to prevent Moreira getting side control.
Tier is breathing heavily.

Moreira lands strikes from half guard.
Moreira trying to control the action but Tier is working from the bottom.
Tier wants to get back to his feet.
Tier moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Moreira trying to control the position from guard on top but Tier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moreira stands up from Tier's guard - Moreira perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tier digs a good body shot into Moreira's ribs.
Tier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moreira shoots in for a takedown but Tier shows good takedown defense.
Jameer Tier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jailton Moreira.
Nice takedown defense from Tier. No joy for Moreira on that attempt.

and Moreira makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Tier using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Moreira has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jailton Moreira dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tier moves into the clinch.
Tier wants to break the clinch but can't.
Moreira has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Tier with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Tier wants to stall.

Moreira changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tier fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Tier counters with a series of strikes. Moreira will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Moreira counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Tier jabs Moreira right on the nose. Moreira blinks but takes it well.

and Moreira counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moreira.
Tier controls Moreira momentarily but Moreira frees himself.
Tier wants to sweep here but Moreira controlling him for the moment.
Moreira drops back looking for a leg! Tier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tier manages to kick Moreira off! Moreira jumps back into Tier's guard.

Moreira's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Tier pushes Moreira off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Jailton Moreira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Tier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Moreira counters with a single leg into guard. Tier didn't expect that.
Moreira gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Moreira takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Moreira rushes Tier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tier misses with a knee to the head.
A frustrated look appears on Tier's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tier can't get the takedown.
Moreira is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Moreira lands a body shot in the clinch.
Moreira is working for takedown but Tier is calmly controlling the position for now.
Moreira jumps guard and drags Tier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Moreira pushes Tier off and gets back to his feet.

Tier throws a sloppy head kick and Moreira moves out of range easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moreira fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tier takes the fight into the clinch.
Moreira drags the fight down to the ground.
Moreira manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tier manages to get himself to full guard.
Moreira postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tier is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moreira, into his guard.
Tier has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Moreira is proving hard to escape from.

Tier wants to get up but he can't break Moreira's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Moreira pushes Tier off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jameer Tier has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tier shoots in and drives through. Moreira sprawls well.
Moreira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tier defends it nicely.
Moreira misses with a takedown
letting Tier counter with a right hand.
Tier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moreira as he avoids it easily.

Jailton Moreira comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Moreira winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
