Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, PeeWee Herman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aras Szlesz! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Szlesz was covering up waiting for the punch and Herman finishes the takedown easily into guard. Szlesz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Szlesz keeping moving, preventing Herman from controlling successfully. Szlesz wants to stand up but Herman is controlling him. Herman wants to control from the top but Szlesz keeps moving. Szlesz trying to control the position.
Herman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Szlesz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Szlesz has escaped and now he's on top! Herman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Szlesz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Szlesz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Szlesz won't allow Herman to sweep him here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Herman is trying to control the position but Szlesz postures up. Szlesz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Herman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Szlesz is one step ahead there.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Herman gets caught flat footed, as Szlesz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Herman tries to land a sweep but no joy. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Herman is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Szlesz is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Herman has a takedown stuffed. Szlesz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Herman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Herman. Herman is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Herman wants to control from the top but Szlesz keeps moving. Szlesz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Herman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Herman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Herman gets in close and instigates a clinch. A body shot lands from Szlesz.
Szlesz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Herman blocks it with crossed arms. Szlesz tries for a takedown. No joy.
Szlesz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Herman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Szlesz to the mat. Szlesz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Szlesz keeping moving, preventing Herman from controlling successfully. Herman postures up.

Herman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Szlesz throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Herman trying to control but Szlesz is working from the bottom. Szlesz controls Herman momentarily but Herman frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Herman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Herman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Szlesz sprawls well. Szlesz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Herman gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for PeeWee Herman. That's going to take a lot out of him. A looping hook to the body misses from Szlesz. Herman does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Szlesz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Szlesz pulls guard. Szlesz looking to control.
Herman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Szlesz dives on top into guard. Szlesz trying to control but Herman is working from the bottom. Szlesz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Herman is keeping the position for now. Szlesz won't allow Herman to sweep him here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Szlesz wants to stand but Herman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that PeeWee Herman will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herman is in trouble now - Szlesz has advanced to mount! Szlesz is standing up, even though he is in mount. Herman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Herman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Herman is trying to take his opponent's back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Herman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Szlesz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Szlesz is trying to control but can't.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Szlesz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Herman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Szlesz's guard. PeeWee Herman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aras Szlesz. Herman lands a couple of digs. Herman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Herman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Szlesz looking to control.

No luck this time Herman. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Herman tries to pass to full mount but Szlesz defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
PeeWee Herman dominated that second round. That's time! Herman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Herman feints and as Szlesz raises his hands in defense, Herman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Szlesz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! PeeWee Herman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Herman, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
