Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New Noise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! David Wilkins is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Liddell swinging wildly here.
Liddell takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wilkins swinging wildly here.
Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilkins. Liddell takes a body punch but keeps moving. Liddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Liddell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wilkins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wilkins misses with a double jab
and Liddell counters with a nice uppercut. Wilkins dips to his left and cracks Liddell with an uppercut! Wilkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Nice body punch from Wilkins. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Liddell looking to slow down the pace here. Liddell tries to break free but Wilkins pushes him back against the ropes. Wilkins stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Wilkins lands a nice shot to the body. Liddell is breathing heavily. Liddell tries to circle away but Wilkins has him pinned against the ropes. Liddell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Wilkins is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Wilkins pushes Liddell back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Liddell throws a punch but it's blocked by Wilkins. A right hand to the body from Wilkins.

Wilkins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A combination from Wilkins does no damage. Liddell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilkins forces Liddell back against the ropes and clinches. Wilkins breaks from the clinch.
Wilkins is looking to clinch. Wilkins stalks Liddell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Liddell's face. Liddell staggers backwards, shaken. Liddell drops his hands momentarily and Wilkins takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins closes the distance and pushes Liddell back into the ropes. A frustrated look appears on Liddell's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short body shot lands from Wilkins as the two fighters clinch.
Wilkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Wilkins - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wilkins digs a right hand underneath Liddell's ribcage. Liddell let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wilkins lands with a short shot to the head. Wilkins stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Wilkins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wilkins stalling against the ropes.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Wilkins blocking some punches.

Wilkins keeps control of Liddell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Liddell has had enough of the clinch but Wilkins keeps him there for the moment. Wilkins looking to stall.

A head punch on the inside from Liddell fails to land. Wilkins lands with a short shot to the head. Wilkins lands a shoulder strike.

Liddell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Wilkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wilkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Liddell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wilkins throws a combination. Liddell tries to block but a couple of punches get through. This has been an exciting period of action! Wilkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Liddell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wilkins moves into the clinch. Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Liddell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Liddell tries to break free but Wilkins pushes him back against the ropes. Wilkins gets through Liddell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilkins wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance. Wilkins tries to bum rush Liddell with a series of wild strikes but Liddell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilkins is working the combinations to good effect here. Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.

Oh Liddell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wilkins is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Liddell hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
