The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrne throws a looping overhand right but Mutconet ducks down to avoid it.
Mutconet tries to clinch up.
Byrne swats away the attempt to clinch by Mutconet.
Tang Mutconet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Byrne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oh but Byrne is tightening it up a little... Mutconet has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mutconet reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mutconet taps out! nice BJJ there by Byrne!
