Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rey Mysterio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Alb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alb has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Ryan Alb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mysterio is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alb sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rey Mysterio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mysterio shoots in for a double leg but Alb sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mysterio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Alb counters with a single leg into guard. Mysterio didn't expect that.
Alb throws a strike but Mysterio rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Alb wants to sweep but no luck.

Mysterio is fighting to break Alb's control of his arms but Alb is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Well Alb has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
