Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Concrete's entrance music is Pillar : Fire on the Inside. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinton Concrete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concrete gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Concrete.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones checks a low kick from Concrete.
Concrete looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Concrete persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Concrete sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Concrete throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Concrete backs up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones stuns Concrete with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Concrete throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Concrete misses with a looping left.
Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Jones takes a swing at Concrete's ribcage but misses.
Concrete rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Concrete shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Concrete gets slowly back to his feet.
Concrete takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Jones is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Concrete had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Concrete doesn't seem phased though.

Concrete tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

Concrete closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Concrete is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

Concrete is working for a submission of some sort.
Concrete is breathing heavily.
Jones is doing well to control the position and prevent Concrete from advancing to side control.
Jones is trying to escape back to his feet but Concrete uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Jones is not content to let Concrete control the position.
Jones is looking for a sweep.

Concrete tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Concrete has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Concrete.

Concrete is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones.

Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Concrete goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Concrete's guard.

Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Concrete will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
