Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fydor Espada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fydor Espada!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins tests Espada's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A cross from Perkins lands.
Espada doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Perkins steps into range and cracks Espada with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Espada flops backwards and Perkins dives into his guard looking to finish!

Espada is rocked!

It looks like Fydor Espada has been cut.
Espada looks gassed!
Perkins wants to get up but he can't break Espada's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Espada is still in real trouble! Can Perkins finish him?

Perkins gets to his feet - Espada follows without any prompting.
Espada seems to have recovered his senses.
Espada shoots for a takedown but Perkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Espada tries to clinch up but Perkins circles away and keeps his distance.

Perkins closes the distance and pushes Espada back into the cage.
Perkins working hard to break the clinch.
Perkins looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Perkins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Perkins is trying to break the clinch but Espada is controlling him.
Perkins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Espada tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Espada fails to pull guard.
Brandon Perkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fydor Espada.

Perkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Espada has double underhooks.

Perkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Espada.
Perkins drops Espada with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Espada! Perkins dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
