Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Goodwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fisanick Wally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisanick Wally has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Goodwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fisanick Wally!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wally misses with a few strikes there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Goodwin.
Goodwin tries to close the distance and clinch but Wally swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Goodwin throws a series of punches but Wally moves out of range.
Wally fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Goodwin.

Goodwin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Goodwin tries to move to mount but Wally blocks the move with his legs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goodwin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Goodwin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wally is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wally stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wally wants it to stay on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Goodwin or perhaps it was just good defense by Wally which made him look bad.

A close round but Fisanick Wally will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wally rushes Goodwin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wally lands a good knee to the midsection. Goodwin won't want to take too many of those.
Tyler Goodwin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wally wants the takedown. Goodwin is fighting it off but Wally persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Goodwin's guard against the cage.

Well Wally has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
