Imum comes to the cage accompanied by Candy Paint - Ken Tuck. Powell has chosen Stepping Razor as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imum checks the leg kick nicely there.
Imum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powell.
Powell thows a body shot but no joy.
Powell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Powell throws a low kick, looking for Imum's leg but Imum calmly moves out of range.
Joe Powell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Powell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Imum moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Imum shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Powell sprawls well. Powell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Imum gets slowly back to his feet.

Imum lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Powell fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Imum on the side of the head.
Powell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Imum feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Powell's calf.
Powell takes a swing at Imum's ribcage but misses.
Imum drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Imum seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Powell for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close second round but I would say that Max Imum will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Imum, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
