Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clancy Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rampage has chosen Iron Man - Ozzy Osbourne as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brock Rampage is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas has closed the distance and engaged Rampage in a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rampage in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Thomas putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Thomas is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rampage can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Clancy Thomas dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Rampage doesn't succeed with the takedown and Thomas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Thomas working some strikes from top position. Thomas postures up and lands a big shot to Rampage's brow. Thomas advances position into side control! Thomas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Thomas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rampage being controlled for a moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rampage can't do much from the bottom here. Thomas is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rampage takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Thomas working away. Rampage takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Thomas scoring with punches from side control. Thomas decides to stand back up. Thomas steps back and let's Rampage get back to his feet. Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Thomas gets a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rampage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that's the end of the fight! Clancy Thomas showed his dominance in that final round. Well Thomas has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
