Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko's entrance music is Enea Vollare Mezzo. A fine choice. Chong has chosen Get Down On The Ground as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Chong! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko scores with a nice right hand.
Chong lands a jab to Emelianenko's midsection. Chong misses with a wild combination.
Emelianenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Emelianenko throws out a loose jab but Chong uses good head movement to avoid it. Chong misses with the combination.
Chong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chong fails to land with a series of punches.
Emelianenko tries for a takedown but Chong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chong lands a jab-cross combination. Chong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chong misses with a jab, cross combination.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Emelianenko throws out the jab. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fedor Emelianenko. Well Emelianenko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
