Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raven LaCroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarcus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn has a takedown stuffed.

LaCroix scores with a takedown into Quinn's guard.
LaCroix tries to stand but Quinn is controlling from the bottom.
LaCroix chips away with some ground and pound.
Quinn looking to hit a scissor sweep but LaCroix is one step ahead there.

Quinn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. LaCroix is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Quinn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take LaCroix's back instead.
LaCroix is trying to get back to his feet but Quinn has full control of the position and if anything, LaCroix has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Quinn looking to break LaCroix's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. LaCroix remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Quinn will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LaCroix is trying to get back to his feet but Quinn has full control of the position and if anything, LaCroix has just worked his way into a worse spot.

LaCroix manages to escape to his feet.
Quinn stuffs the takedown attempt from LaCroix. LaCroix gets slowly back to his feet.

Quinn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

LaCroix throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
LaCroix doesn't manage to clinch there - Quinn circles away.
Quinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as LaCroix throws out the jab.
Horrible takedown by Quinn or perhaps it was just good defense by LaCroix which made him look bad.
Quinn swats away the attempt to clinch by LaCroix.
LaCroix looks for a takedown but Quinn sprawls well.

LaCroix shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. LaCroix showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LaCroix stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Quinn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raven LaCroix. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Quinn swats away the attempt to clinch by LaCroix.

LaCroix tries to close the distance and clinch but Quinn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Quinn misses with a takedown attempt - LaCroix sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

LaCroix is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
