Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Poluga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pound Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poluga comes to the cage accompanied by My Time Is Now . Mcgee has chosen Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvis Poluga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pound Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poluga takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mcgee misses with an uppercut
and Poluga connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Poluga misses with a takedown attempt
and Mcgee counters with a three punch combo that has Poluga backing up. Poluga nods at Mcgee to acknowledge the strikes.
Poluga shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcgee sprawls well. He's pushed Poluga's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mcgee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mcgee swings for the body but Poluga moves out of range.
Poluga swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mcgee throws a looping overhand right but Poluga ducks down to avoid it.

Poluga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mcgee.
Mcgee misses with a series of wild punches.
Mcgee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Poluga checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Poluga counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mcgee is staying active underneath Poluga, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mcgee is looking for a sweep. Poluga is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mcgee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mcgee is looking to control Poluga's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcgee avoid being mounted?
Mcgee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mcgee.
Poluga tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcgee is retaining full guard.
Poluga is fighting to break Mcgee's control of his arms but Mcgee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Poluga lands a couple of elbows.
Mcgee is pulling down on Poluga's head to control his posture.
Poluga keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcgee's head.
Mcgee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Poluga shoots in but Mcgee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pound Mcgee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Poluga is able to avoid easily.

The fighters circling - Mcgee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mcgee. Poluga does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mcgee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Poluga.

and Poluga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mcgee clobbers Poluga with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Poluga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcgee sprawls well. Mcgee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Poluga gets slowly back to his feet.
Poluga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mcgee defends it nicely.
Pound Mcgee seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Poluga uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mcgee.
A telegraphed right hand from Mcgee misses the target.
Mcgee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Poluga.
Sloppy strikes from Mcgee. Those never looked like landing.

Mcgee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Mcgee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mcgee get's back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pound Mcgee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mcgee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Mcgee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Poluga postures up and lands a big shot to Mcgee's brow.
Mcgee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Poluga's guard.
Mcgee is looking to stand up but Poluga won't let him.
Poluga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcgee is one step ahead there.

Mcgee stands and steps away. Poluga gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

No joy there for Mcgee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mcgee throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

I think Mcgee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
