Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ishi Kiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Rekker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damon Rekker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiki connects with a body shot that sends Rekker's belly button to the back.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rekker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kiki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rekker thinking.
Kiki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rekker napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kiki tries to pass to full mount but Rekker defends it.

Kiki is looking to advance position but Rekker won't allow it.
Kiki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kiki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rekker defends it well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kiki is just content to waste time from the top position. Rekker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kiki wants to control from the top but Rekker keeps moving.
Kiki wants to pass the guard but Rekker is keeping the position.

Kiki is working hard here to advance position.
Rekker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kiki is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kiki has gone for a leg lock! Rekker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kiki's guard.
Rekker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rekker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kiki controls Rekker momentarily but Rekker frees himself.
Kiki wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rekker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ishi Kiki dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kiki looks for a takedown but Rekker sprawls well.
Rekker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiki circles away quickly and effectively.
Kiki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rekker darts in trying to clinch
and Kiki counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kiki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rekker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kiki takes a swing at Rekker's ribcage but misses.
Rekker looks to clinch
and Kiki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rekker misses the jab.
Rekker throws the left hand but Kiki avoids the punch easily.
Kiki circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kiki counters with a shoot takedown. Rekker fights it but they end up in guard.
Kiki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kiki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rekker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kiki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rekker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rekker has escaped and now he's on top!
Kiki wants to sweep but no luck.

Rekker drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kiki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rekker has Kiki in his guard.
Kiki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rekker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rekker has escaped and now he's on top!
Rekker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rekker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kiki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rekker!

Kiki is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kiki!
