Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gonzalez Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Marduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marduk has chosen Cody's Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez Ortega shoots for a double leg takedown but Marduk sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzalez Ortega's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Diego Gonzalez Ortega.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Marduk lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gonzalez Ortega down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Diego Gonzalez Ortega will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Marduk drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marduk stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Gonzalez Ortega has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Marduk manages to get his head free but now Gonzalez Ortega has transitioned to an armbar! Marduk grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Gonzalez Ortega! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
