Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between shax fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rhodes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Yah Trick Yah. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, shax fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Rhodes!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes forces fighter back against the cage and clinches.
fighter has Rhodes pressed against the cage, preventing Rhodes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rhodes has had enough of the clinch but fighter keeps him there for the moment.
fighter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rhodes pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rhodes shoots in for a takedown but fighter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
fighter tries to clinch up.
Rhodes clinches up with fighter and pushes him back against the cage.
Rhodes just leaning against fighter, taking a breather.
Rhodes tries to pull guard but fighter won't allow it.
Rhodes working hard to break the clinch.
fighter looking to stall.
Rhodes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rhodes scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
fighter loads up on a big right hand but Rhodes slips the punch.
fighter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rhodes circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Rhodes.
Rhodes tries to close the distance and clinch up but fighter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rhodes misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Rhodes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in fighter's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for shax fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
fighter trying to keep a closed guard but Rhodes is proving a slippery customer.
fighter is really struggling to control Rhodes but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rhodes trying to control but fighter is working from the bottom.
Rhodes is looking to advance position but fighter has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

fighter goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rhodes turns into him and now he's in fighter's guard.
Rhodes stands and steps away. fighter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rhodes lands a head kick. fighter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Rhodes counters with a head kick. That will keep fighter thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rhodes tries to score a power double leg takedown but fighter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rhodes somewhat.
Rhodes looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
fighter throws a body kick that misses.
Rhodes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Donk. Rhodes catches fighter right on the button with a cross.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rhodes.
fighter tries to close the distance and clinch but Rhodes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
fighter looks to clinch
and Rhodes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rhodes content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because fighter has locked up a guillotine! fighter's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Rhodes is holding on here and fighter must be using up a lot of energy. Rhodes has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! fighter gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
