Kukuczka shoots in for a takedown but vera shows good takedown defense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

vera closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - vera lands in his opponent's guard.

vera is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kukuczka has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. vera is looking to defend but Kukuczka has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for vera! Kukuczka pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, vera taps out and this one is all over!
