Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karel Skokan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karel Skokan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Marcus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Marcus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karel Skokan! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skokan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marcus is trying to defend but Skokan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Marcus looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Marcus is defending against the submission attempts here by Skokan.
Marcus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marcus tries to get out of the position. Marcus trying to control but Skokan postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Skokan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Skokan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marcus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Marcus is trying to maintain the position but Skokan is very close to passing his half guard. Marcus won't allow Skokan to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Marcus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Skokan decides to stand up. Skokan scores with a takedown into Marcus's guard. Skokan is stalling in the full guard. Skokan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skokan stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Skokan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Marcus taking a bit of punishment here - Skokan scoring with strikes. Skokan tries to move to mount but Marcus blocks the move with his legs. Skokan is working Marcus over with some ground and pound from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karel Skokan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A good leg kick by Skokan. Skokan tries to clinch up but Marcus circles away and keeps his distance. Skokan tries to clinch but Marcus is having none of it. Marcus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Skokan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Skokan trying to control the position from guard on top but Marcus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Skokan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcus keeping moving, preventing Skokan from controlling successfully. Marcus is working an open guard so Skokan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Skokan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Skokan works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skokan trying to control but Marcus is having none of it. Skokan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcus is in all sorts of trouble here.
Skokan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Skokan breaks from Marcus's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Skokan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Marcus is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Skokan stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karel Skokan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Marcus scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marcus gets caught flat footed, as Skokan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Skokan trying to control the position from guard on top but Marcus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Karel Skokan. Marcus misses with a takedown attempt and Skokan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Skokan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Marcus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Skokan wants to control but Marcus is keeping him busy. Skokan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marcus kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Skokan stands up from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marcus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sloppy strikes there by Marcus. Marcus in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Marcus is putting a hurting on Skokan here, landing some big shots from side control. Skokan can't do much from the bottom here. Marcus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Skokan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Nice strikes from Marcus there. Skokan manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skokan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Skokan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Skokan tries to score with some ground and pound. Marcus controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Marcus parries the strikes from Skokan easily there. Skokan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Marcus to escape.
Skokan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Marcus has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skokan is looking to take a break and control but Marcus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Karel Skokan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Skokan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
