Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Man Zend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hernano Laios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zend kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Up. Man Zend has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zend displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Laios throws out the jab.
Zend tries to clinch up but Laios circles away and keeps his distance.
Zend ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laios moves away.
Laios throws a hook but Zend avoids it easily.
Zend scores with a sloppy right hand. Laios should have avoided that one.
Laios misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Zend counters with a stiff right hand.
Zend staying out of range there.
Zend moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Zend throws a leg kick but Laios sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Zend is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Laios wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Laios fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zend manages to avoid it.

It looks like Man Zend has been cut.
Laios must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Laios drops back looking for a leg! Zend is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zend manages to kick Laios off! Laios jumps back into Zend's guard.
Oh Zend is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zend will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Laios arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Zend's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
