Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gio Jazz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mariuz Podolsky! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Podolsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jazz scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Podolsky manages to mount him!
Jazz is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Jazz is trying to stand up. Jazz defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Podolsky. Podolsky looks gassed! Jazz really wants to buck Podolsky off and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Podolsky trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jazz is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jazz bucks up and throws Podolsky to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Podolsky dodges the punch combination from Jazz.
Jazz throws a right and a left that Podolsky avoids nicely. Jazz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jazz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Podolsky sprawls well initially but Jazz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jazz uses his free foot to push down on Podolsky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Podolsky. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jazz breaks from Podolsky's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jazz lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Jazz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jazz with shots to the head and body - Podolsky looks very uncomfortable down there. Jazz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Jazz. Podolsky is in a horrible position here. Jazz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jazz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Podolsky's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jazz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Podolsky is still in real trouble! Can Jazz finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jazz is landing with some decent strikes but Podolsky is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. BOOM! Jazz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
