Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iivo Guldpucken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guldpucken has chosen RMB - Spring as his entrance music. Jimmy Evil could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Iivo Guldpucken's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Evil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iivo Guldpucken! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guldpucken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Evil's guard. Evil keeping moving, preventing Guldpucken from controlling successfully. Guldpucken thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Evil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Guldpucken throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Evil works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Evil wants to sweep but no luck. Guldpucken trying to control the position from guard on top but Evil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Evil looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evil has his foot on Guldpucken's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guldpucken works his way back into a safe position though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Evil displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guldpucken. Evil misses with a wild body shot. Evil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guldpucken was well out of range. Poor timing from Evil. Guldpucken blocks a head kick by Evil.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guldpucken looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Evil! Guldpucken landing strikes from the mount and Evil is in trouble! Evil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evil tries to get out of the position. Guldpucken is in the full mount, landing strikes. Guldpucken has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guldpucken lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Evil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Guldpucken wants to sweep here but Evil controlling him for the moment. Evil wants to control from the top but Guldpucken keeps moving. Evil pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Guldpucken is keeping the position for now. Evil passes easily into side control. Nice work. Evil in side control, throwing shots but Guldpucken defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guldpucken tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Evil wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Evil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guldpucken on the ground. Evil throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Guldpucken drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Guldpucken pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Evil is keeping the position for now. Guldpucken drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guldpucken jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guldpucken looks gassed! Evil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guldpucken is one step ahead there. Evil is trying to control the position but Guldpucken postures up. Guldpucken is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Guldpucken throws a strike but Evil rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evil wants to control from the top but Guldpucken keeps moving. Evil is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evil trying to control but Guldpucken is working from the bottom. Evil preventing the sweep. Guldpucken is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Guldpucken pulls Evil in close to prevent any damage. Guldpucken had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Evil defends it easily. Evil slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Evil trying to control the position from guard on top but Guldpucken is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Guldpucken drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Evil tries to bench press Guldpucken off him but Guldpucken keeps the position. Guldpucken working the head with strikes. Evil regains half guard. Guldpucken missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Guldpucken drops an elbow to the side of Evil's head. Evil wants to control but Guldpucken is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iivo Guldpucken dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Evil lands with a right hand. Evil moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Evil lands with a right that hurts Guldpucken. Guldpucken looks to clinch but Evil throws a short knee that drops Guldpucken. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Jimmy Evil!
