Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Kooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kooch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rusko - Tru Powwa. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Kooch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Creed! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Creed tries a head kick but it misses.
Creed misses with a wild body shot. Creed throws a right and a left that both miss. Creed tries a head kick but it misses.
Creed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Creed misses the shot to the body. Apollo Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Creed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kooch slips a straight right by Creed. Kooch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Creed. Kooch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kooch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kooch slips a jab from Creed. Kooch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Creed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kooch defending well as Creed loads up on a big left hand. Creed throws out a loose jab but Kooch uses good head movement to avoid it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Creed enables Kooch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Creed manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kooch won't allow Creed to get back to his feet. Kooch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kooch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kooch trying to control the position from guard on top but Creed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kooch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Creed manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kooch has Creed in his guard. Kooch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Creed is aware though and is defending well. Kooch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Creed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kooch has his foot on Creed's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Creed works his way back into a safe position though. Creed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Creed stays in close to Kooch's body and controls the position. Kooch looking for a guillotine here but Creed defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kooch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Creed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kooch is keeping the position for now. Creed throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kooch works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Creed won't allow Kooch to sweep him here. Creed in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Creed wants to get up but he can't break Kooch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kooch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Creed is one step ahead there. Creed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kooch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Creed wants to stand but Kooch has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kooch is looking for a triangle but Creed pushes his legs off easily.
Kooch controls Creed momentarily but Creed frees himself. Kooch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Creed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Creed throws and elbow that misses. Kooch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Creed's guard. Nice move by Kooch! Kooch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Creed looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Creed looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Creed! Creed looks up at the clock and then as Kooch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Creed smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kooch is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kooch parries the strikes from Creed easily there. Creed is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kooch to escape.
Kooch dodges the ground and pound from Creed. Creed working away. Kooch tries to buck Creed off but Creed is having none of it. Creed misses with the ground and pound. Kooch tries to improve position but can't. Creed working away. Creed is chipping away with strikes.
Creed scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kooch to see if he's OK. Kooch sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kooch tries to roll over but Creed keeps him under control. Creed trying to control the action but Kooch is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Creed throwing shots but Kooch is blocking nicely. Kooch is looking to control Creed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kooch avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Kooch dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kooch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Creed was covering up waiting for the punch and Kooch finishes the takedown easily into guard. Creed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kooch is controlling him. Kooch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Creed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kooch pushing down on Creed's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Creed pushes Kooch off and gets back to his feet. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kooch here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Kooch slips a jab and a cross from Creed.
Kooch blocks a jab. Kooch shoots for a double leg takedown but Creed sprawls well. He's pushed Kooch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kooch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kooch trying to control but Creed is working from the bottom. Kooch sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kooch drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Creed dives on top into guard. Creed is in close to Kooch's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mike Kooch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kooch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Creed wants to get back to his feet.
Creed is breathing heavily. Kooch trying to control from half guard but Creed is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kooch wants to work for an arm triangle but Creed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kooch looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Creed tries to kick Kooch off but Kooch keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Creed is staying active underneath Kooch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Creed is trying to stand up here but Kooch is controlling him well. Kooch seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kooch is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kooch is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Creed is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Kooch dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
A telegraphed right hand from Creed misses the target. A swing and a miss from Creed. Kooch dives in and grabs Creed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Creed pushes down on Kooch's head and hops out. A slow jab from Creed misses its intended target. Kooch staying out of range there. No joy there for Creed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kooch tries for a takedown but Creed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Creed looks to land a combination but Kooch avoids it well. Creed throws a head kick that misses. Creed swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Creed bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kooch's head. Creed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Creed throws a lazy right hand but Kooch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Creed throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kooch defending well as Creed loads up on a big left hand. Creed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kooch slips under a jab from Creed. Kooch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kooch is keen to just control but Creed is a slippery customer. Kooch is working for a kimura but Creed is defending it quite comfortably.
Kooch looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kooch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kooch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kooch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kooch advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kooch tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Creed prevents Kooch from moving into mount. Creed tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Kooch has got one arm under Creed's chin. This could be trouble... Creed trying to control the other hand but Kooch gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Creed has tapped out! The fight is over!
