Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermanni looks to land a right hand but Filipovic moved out of range.
Hermanni shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Filipovic as he avoids it easily.

Filipovic takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hermanni is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Filipovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hermanni wants to lay and pray for a moment but Filipovic keeps working.
Hermanni connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Filipovic some visible discomfort.
Hermanni looks up at the clock and then as Filipovic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hermanni smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hermanni decides to stand up, so the ref orders Filipovic to his feet.

Hermanni shoots in and drives through. Filipovic sprawls well.

Hermanni drops down looking for an ankle pick but Filipovic pulls his leg out and moves away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hermanni moves into range and clinches up with Filipovic.
Hermanni looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hermanni tries to break free but Filipovic pushes him back against the cage.
Hermanni works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Hermanni postures up in Filipovic's guard and throws a big left but Filipovic blocks it.

Hermanni is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Filipovic's half guard.
Hermanni looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Filipovic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Filipovic is breathing heavily.
Hermanni winds up and cracks Filipovic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hermanni seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Filipovic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hermanni scores with a couple of nice shots.

Hermanni in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Filipovic tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hermanni!
