Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sir Lancelot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Low, Down, Dirty by Eminem. Sir Lancelot has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sir Lancelot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Sanchez! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez misses with a kick to the body.
Lancelot connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sanchez's hands. Sanchez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lancelot was well out of range. Poor timing from Sanchez. Nice jab there from Lancelot. Sanchez misses with a hook. Lancelot ducked under it nicely. A shot to the liver by Sanchez. Beautiful body shot. Sanchez lands a nice looking body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lancelot walks into a jab. Lancelot is breathing heavily. Sanchez shoots in and drives through. Lancelot sprawls well. Lancelot shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sanchez is trying to defend but Lancelot finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sanchez is pressing down on Lancelot's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sanchez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lancelot manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lancelot keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Sanchez postures up in Lancelot's guard and throws a big left but Lancelot blocks it. Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lancelot swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lancelot working for a triangle but Sanchez defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Lancelot moves out of range easily. A jab from Lancelot misses. Sanchez tries to score with a low kick but Lancelot moves his leg out of the way. Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Lancelot is just out of range. Lancelot loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sanchez throws a head kick but Lancelot moves out of range.

Lancelot lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Lancelot's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lancelot duly obliges.
It looks like Carlos Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez scores with a shot to the body.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses. Sanchez misses with a low kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Sanchez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lancelot just misses with a punch to the body.

letting Lancelot counter with a right hand. Sanchez looks for the body kick but Lancelot saw that one coming. A big right from Lancelot misses. Lancelot throws a series of punches but Sanchez avoids them all with ease. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sanchez. Lancelot misses the shot to the body. Lancelot looks to throw the jab but Sanchez is out of range. Lancelot misses with a body kick. Some wild striking there from Sanchez.

Sanchez throws a head kick that misses. Left hook, right uppercut from Lancelot. Lancelot moves out of range of the body kick. Carlos Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Sanchez throws a combination that misses letting Lancelot counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lancelot to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lancelot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sanchez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Lancelot is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Lancelot tries to kick Sanchez off but Sanchez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lancelot taking some punishment here, with Sanchez in his half guard. Lancelot is staying active underneath Sanchez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lancelot darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sanchez misses with a body shot
and Lancelot counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lancelot. Lancelot is fighting to break Sanchez's control of his arms but Sanchez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sanchez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Lancelot from controlling successfully. Lancelot preventing the sweep. Sanchez controls Lancelot momentarily but Lancelot frees himself. Sanchez is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lancelot throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sanchez's body to avoid the submission. Sanchez has instead reached around Lancelot's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sanchez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
