Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Achilles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brutus Achilles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brutus Achilles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Demon!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Achilles takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Achilles throws a jab when Demon was well out of range.
Demon cracks Achilles with an open hand slap.
Achilles has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Demon swings for the body but Achilles moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Demon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Achilles shoots in looking for a takedown. Demon tries to sprawl out of it but Achilles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Demon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Achilles jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Demon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Achilles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Achilles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Demon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Demon moves in looking to clinch but Achilles pushes him off.
Demon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Demon avoids the body shot from Achilles.
A jab from Demon misses.
Demon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Achilles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Demon misses with a takedown
and Demon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Achilles counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Demon's guard now.
Brutus Achilles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Demon.

Achilles trying to control the position from guard on top but Demon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Demon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Achilles pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Demon is keeping the position for now.

Demon has his foot on Achilles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Achilles works his way back into a safe position though.
Demon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Achilles thows a left - swing and a miss!
A swing and a miss from Achilles.
Achilles misses the shot to the body.

Achilles fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Demon, pushing him back against the ropes.
Achilles's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Demon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Achilles.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Demon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Achilles decides to pull guard.

Demon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Achilles's guard.
Demon looks gassed!

Achilles pushes Demon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Achilles works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Achilles moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Achilles cracks Demon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Achilles has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Demon to stand back up!

Demon is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Achilles is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Demon flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Demon is out cold! Achilles holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
