Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Rodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sam benefield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodman gets caught flat footed, as benefield shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
benefield advances to half guard.
benefield looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rodman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rodman is breathing heavily.
Rodman is trying to stand.
benefield passes to side control.
benefield wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rodman, who protects the arm well.
benefield tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodman tries to buck benefield off but benefield is having none of it.
benefield thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Rodman manages to work his way to half guard, despite benefield's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
benefield is trying for a kimura here. Rodman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! benefield wins by kimura!
