Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre VanKooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Brites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demian Brites is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from VanKooch. No joy for Brites on that attempt.
VanKooch moves in looking to clinch but Brites pushes him off.
Brites changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. VanKooch tries to avoid it but Brites manages to keep hold of a leg and drag VanKooch to the ground. VanKooch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for VanKooch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
VanKooch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brites.
Andre VanKooch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demian Brites.
VanKooch fails with an attempt to clinch.
VanKooch moves into range and clinches up with Brites.
Brites pulls guard effortlessly.
VanKooch could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Brites wants to sweep but no luck.
Brites looking for a guillotine here but VanKooch defends easily.
VanKooch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brites on the ground.
VanKooch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brites has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, VanKooch has managed to get both his arms back between Brites's legs - danger averted.
VanKooch trying to control but Brites is working from the bottom.
VanKooch is sitting in close to Brites's body. Brites has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! VanKooch is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, VanKooch is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Brites.
