Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ritchie Ravenhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ritchie Ravenhill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, That Guy!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ravenhill manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Guy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Ravenhill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ravenhill gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Guy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ravenhill dodges the punch combination from Guy.
Ravenhill moves in looking to clinch but Guy pushes him off.
Nice takedown defense from Guy. No joy for Ravenhill on that attempt.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Ravenhill shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guy napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ravenhill gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Guy counters with a takedown into side control.
Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ravenhill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Guy throws an elbow but Ravenhill slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ravenhill can't do much from the bottom here.
Guy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ravenhill down.
Guy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ravenhill will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Ravenhill gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Ravenhill moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That Guy has got the better of the ground game so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ravenhill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guy manages to get himself to full guard.
Ravenhill wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving.

Guy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A close second round but That Guy will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ravenhill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guy's guard.

Ravenhill gets to his feet. Guy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ravenhill tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ravenhill to the ground. Ravenhill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ritchie Ravenhill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of That Guy.

and Ravenhill counters with a big head kick but Guy shrugs it off.

Guy is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Guy is squirming around, avoiding Ravenhill's attempts to control the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ritchie Ravenhill.
I think Guy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
