Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Corlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Tubarao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corlow might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - Let´s Get It On. Junior Tubarao told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stefan Corlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Tubarao!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tubarao gets a takedown into half guard.
Corlow misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tubarao slips a nice elbow through Corlow's hands, connecting with Corlow's forehead.
Corlow pushes Tubarao off looking to stand but Tubarao dives back in and keeps control.
Corlow landing a few short strikes.
Corlow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tubarao on the ground.
Tubarao is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Corlow defends it well.
Corlow is refusing to be controlled, as Tubarao sits in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Corlow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tubarao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corlow has managed to get both his arms back between Tubarao's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Corlow for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Junior Tubarao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Corlow regains full guard. Nicely done.
Tubarao decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Corlow dives in and grabs Tubarao's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tubarao pushes down on Corlow's head and hops out.
Corlow could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Corlow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tubarao.

The fight stays on the outside here - Corlow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tubarao lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Tubarao scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Corlow to see if he's OK.
