The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward moves into the clinch. Ward unloads a knee to the mid-section. Moore lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Moore fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moore is breathing heavily. Ward with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Ward lands a knee to the body.

Moore keeps the fight on the outside. Ward wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance. A bone on bone clash there as Ward blocks the leg kick.
Moore lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Moore misses with a jab, cross combination.

Moore stalks Ward and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ward's face. Ward staggers backwards, shaken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moore throws a big shot that misses. Ward clinches up against the cage. Moore misses with a hook from the clinch.
