Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antionio Pele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pele is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye of the tiger . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antionio Pele!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pele gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gaines is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gaines forces his way into half guard.
Pele should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gaines perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gaines wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pele keeps working.
Gaines not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Pele is looking to improve his position.
Gaines looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gaines is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Pele is trying to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pele drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gaines holds on to Pele's head and controls the position momentarily.

Pele trying to control the action but Gaines is working from the bottom.
Gaines can't do much from the bottom here.
Pele looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gaines knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pele on the ground.

Gaines is looking to reverse the position.
Pele tries to advance to mount but Gaines instead regains half guard.
Gaines is holding on to half guard well.
Gaines is defending against the submission attempts here by Pele.
Pele looks gassed!
Pele seems to be looking for submissions.
Pele is thwarting Gaines's attempts to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gaines is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pele pulls his head out easily.
Pele wants to free his trapped foot but Gaines is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gaines keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Pele prevents Gaines from improving his position.
Gaines has his hands clasped together around Pele's back. He's all about the action.
Pele is looking to take a break and control but Gaines is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Gaines will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gaines clinches.
Pele can't get the takedown.
Gaines breaks the clinch.
Gaines drives through and clinches with Pele against the cage.
Pele tries for a takedown but Gaines manages to get underhooks.
Gaines gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gaines wants to stand up but Pele is controlling the position.
Pele is trying to get back to full guard.
Gaines moves into full mount! Pele won't be happy about that!
Pele is breathing heavily.

Gaines looking to control and managing it successfully.
Pele in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Pele is trying desperately to improve position.
Gaines is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pele is in real trouble.

Gaines keeps control of the position as Pele tries to break free.
Gaines trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Gaines lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Gaines.
Pele is trapped and Gaines is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Gaines controls the action.
Gaines looking to break Pele's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pele remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gaines will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Gaines is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pele is defending well though. Gaines let's go of the attempt for now.
Pele is covering up but some of the strikes from Gaines are getting through and doing damage.
Pele prevents Gaines from getting a body triangle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gaines cracks Pele with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Pele from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Gaines has good solid back control here.
Pele staying busy and making it hard for Gaines to control.
Gaines is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Pele up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Gaines dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gaines looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pele gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gaines decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pele's guard.
Gaines decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pele shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gaines counters with a double leg. Pele bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Gaines follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Jack Gaines!
