The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince throws a right hand that Percell ducks under and follows up with a left that Percell also avoids with ease.
Percell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Prince shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Percell is trying to defend but Prince finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prince is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Percell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Prince takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Prince closes the distance and clinches.

Prince manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Prince pushes Percell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Prince feints and as Percell raises his hands in defense, Prince changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Prince has gone for a leg lock! Percell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Prince's guard.
Prince manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Percell manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prince accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Percell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Prince's half guard.
