Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Pax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glow Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Leroy's choice of entrance music: THE GLOW. Maximus Pax has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Pax is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Leroy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leroy manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pax's guard. Nice work there by Leroy.
Pax seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Pax closes the distance and clinches up with Leroy, looking for a takedown. Pax pushes Leroy against the cage but Leroy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maximus Pax.
I think Leroy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
