The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pham will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Emmeraldo drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pham trying to keep a closed guard but Emmeraldo is proving a slippery customer.
Emmeraldo tries to free his leg and advance position but Pham is retaining full guard.
Emmeraldo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Emmeraldo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Pham screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Emmeraldo! Nice submission victory there!
