Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aarron Marcum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bonafacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcum comes to the cage accompanied by Live Your Life-Rhianna feat. T.I.. Bonafacio has chosen Becoming the Bull-Atreyu as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcum fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bonafacio sprawls well initially but Marcum persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bonafacio wants to improve his position but Marcum is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marcum lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Marcum manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bonafacio manages to get himself to full guard.

Bonafacio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marcum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bonafacio had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marcum is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bonafacio Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marcum's back instead.
Marcum manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bonafacio's guard. Nice work there by Marcum.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marcum connects with a nice short shot to Bonafacio's temple.

Bonafacio is looking to sinch up a triangle. Marcum throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bonafacio's body to avoid the submission. Bonafacio has instead reached around Marcum's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bonafacio arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
