Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damion Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Damion Thompson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Damion Thompson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price dives in and grabs Thompson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes down on Price's head and hops out.
Thompson lands a really nice looking cross but Price seems unphased.
Price circles away from the clinch attempt.
Price decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Thompson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Thompson gets full guard.
Price stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thompson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Thompson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Price doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Price manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Thompson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thompson has his foot on Price's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Price works his way back into a safe position though.

Price must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Thompson cracks Price with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Thompson lands a jab to the head.
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Price swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Price shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thompson defends it nicely.
Damion Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harvey Price.
Price has a takedown stuffed.
Thompson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Price fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thompson avoids it really well and circles away.
Price shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thompson but Thompson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Price changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thompson tries to avoid it but Price manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thompson to the ground. Thompson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Price looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Price looks gassed!
Price throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Price.

Thompson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Thompson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price is sitting in close to Thompson's body. Thompson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Price is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Price is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Thompson.
