Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosas looks for a takedown but Watson sprawls well.
Rosas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Watson circles away.
Rosas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Watson but Watson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Rosas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rosas shoots in and drives through. Watson sprawls well.
Watson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

so Watson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Watson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Watson stands up and waves to Rosas to follow him.
Adrian Rosas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson drives through and clinches with Rosas against the cage.
Watson tries to break the clinch but Rosas is controlling the position.
Rosas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Watson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rosas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Watson has him pressed against the cage.
Rosas lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Rosas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Watson prevents it.
Rosas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rosas misses with a knee to the head.

Rosas has had enough of the clinch but Watson keeps him there for the moment.
Rosas is fighting off a takedown attempt but Watson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rosas to the mat. Rosas regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rosas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Watson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rosas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Watson's back instead.
Watson can't escape the position.
Rosas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rosas is persistently looking for the submission but Watson is defending it well.

Watson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Watson looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rosas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Watson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rosas doesn't have the hooks in and Watson manages to turn into his guard.

Rosas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Watson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Watson stands and steps away. Rosas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Watson counters with a takedown into side control.
Rosas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Watson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Watson gets to mount! Rosas was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
A big strike lands for Watson! That's really hurt Rosas and he's turned his back - Watson keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Watson Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
