Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Bartnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartnik comes to the cage accompanied by Soulja boy - Crank That. Pablo Escobar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tomasz Bartnik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Escobar! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar is looking to clinch but Bartnik is avoiding it.
Escobar throws a sloppy head kick and Bartnik moves out of range easily. Escobar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bartnik is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Bartnik is not content to let Escobar control the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bartnik manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bartnik keeping moving, preventing Escobar from controlling successfully. Bartnik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Escobar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Escobar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bartnik avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bartnik trying to control the position.
Bartnik keeping moving, preventing Escobar from controlling successfully. Bartnik controls Escobar momentarily but Escobar frees himself. Escobar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bartnik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Escobar has managed to get both his arms back between Bartnik's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bartnik has his foot on Escobar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Escobar works his way back into a safe position though. Bartnik throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Escobar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Escobar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bartnik is proving hard to escape from. Escobar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bartnik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bartnik is breathing heavily. Escobar scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bartnik has his foot on Escobar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Escobar works his way back into a safe position though. Escobar passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bartnik landing rabbit punches to the side of Escobar's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. Escobar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. It looks like Escobar is going to stand back up.
Bartnik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Escobar is looking to take a break and control but Bartnik is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Escobar is pressing down on Bartnik's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bartnik is holding on for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Escobar escapes and gets back to his feet. Escobar fails in his attempt to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tomasz Bartnik will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Escobar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bartnik looking for submissions off his back. Bartnik is looking to control Escobar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bartnik avoid being mounted? Bartnik wants to improve his position but Escobar is controlling well.
Bartnik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Escobar is keen to just control but Bartnik is a slippery customer. Escobar wants to stand but Bartnik has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bartnik keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Escobar wants to take a breather but Bartnik is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bartnik with a lazy takedown attempt and Escobar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Escobar is trying to force a seperation but Bartnik has the dominant position. Escobar tries to break free but Bartnik pushes him back against the cage. Escobar lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Escobar working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bartnik's thigh. Bartnik counters though and makes it back to full guard. Escobar controls from within his opponent's guard. Bartnik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Escobar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bartnik is tightening it up a little... Escobar has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Escobar reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Escobar taps out! nice BJJ there by Bartnik!
