Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skip Lakp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hass comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Rest For the Wicked-Cage the Elephant. Skip Lakp will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hass fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lakp defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hass. Nice takedown defense from Lakp. No joy for Hass on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hass. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hass fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lakp tries to clinch but Hass is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lakp as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hass closes the distance and clinches up with Lakp, looking for a takedown. Hass pushes Lakp against the cage but Lakp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hass fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hass tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lakp swivels and escapes. Hass fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lakp as he avoids it easily. Hass shoots in for a takedown but Lakp shows good takedown defense. Hass is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lakp tries to clinch up but Hass circles away and keeps his distance. Jack Hass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lakp is looking to clinch but Hass is avoiding it.
Lakp slaps away a takedown attempt from Hass, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hass shoots for a double leg takedown but Lakp sprawls well. He's pushed Hass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lakp moves in looking to clinch but Hass pushes him off. Lakp tries to clinch but Hass moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lakp tries to clinch but Hass is having none of it. Lakp wants to clinch. Hass shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lakp pinned against the cage. Lakp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hass closes the distance and clinches up with Lakp, looking for a takedown. Hass pushes Lakp against the cage but Lakp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hass looks to score with a jab to the body but Lakp is just out of range. Lakp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hass swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lakp tries to clinch there but Hass circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hass misses with a straight right. Hass closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lakp circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lakp fails in his attempt to clinch. Skip Lakp is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lakp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hass fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lakp avoids it really well and circles away. Lakp stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lakp wants it to stay on the feet. Hass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lakp tries to clinch but Hass moves out of range. Lakp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Horrible takedown by Hass or perhaps it was just good defense by Lakp which made him look bad. Lakp tries to clinch up but Hass circles away and keeps his distance. Hass shoots in for a takedown but Lakp shows good takedown defense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lakp stuffs the takedown attempt from Hass. Hass gets slowly back to his feet. Hass fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hass tries for a takedown but Lakp sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hass has a takedown stuffed. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hass. Skip Lakp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hass shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lakp defends it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Skip Lakp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lakp wants to clinch up but Hass keeps it at a distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hass. Hass misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fight stays on the outside here - Lakp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lakp tries to clinch up but Hass circles away and keeps his distance. Lakp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hass scores with a takedown into Lakp's guard. Hass drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lakp dives on top into guard. Hass is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hass is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lakp trying to control the position from guard on top but Hass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lakp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lakp looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hass is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hass keeping moving, preventing Lakp from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lakp postures up.
Jack Hass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hass has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lakp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Hass showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lakp has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
