Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kaner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunnz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Gunnz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Kaner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaner throws a push kick but Gunnz slaps the foot to one side.
Kaner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kaner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kaner wants to get back to his feet but Gunnz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gunnz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
I looks like Gunnz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kaner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gunnz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kaner dives on top into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tommy Gunnz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Gunnz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kaner did well to prevent Gunnz getting side control.
