Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cameron Saber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Eric Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saber misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Saber defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lee.
Some wild striking there from Saber.
Lee keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Saber gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lee.
Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lee cracks a nice hook into Saber's ribs.
Lee misses the shot to the body.

Lee gets a takedown into half guard.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Saber is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lee works his foot free and advances to mount.

Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lee with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Lee has control of Saber's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Saber regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Saber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saber tries to get out of the position.

Lee working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Saber manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saber knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Saber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.

Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Saber is defending well.

Saber is trying to buck Lee off.
Lee moves into full mount!

Lee moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Saber has worked his arm free - good work by Saber!

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Saber stops Lee from passing to mount.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Saber has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Lee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lee takes a swing at Saber's ribcage but misses.
Saber throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee.
Lee throws a body punch but Saber moves out of range.
Lee throws a right and a left that Saber avoids nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Saber. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee throws a combination that misses
and Saber counters with a left to the body.
Saber has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Saber there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saber misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saber moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saber throws a sloppy body shot

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Saber keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass.

Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Saber is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Saber is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lee, into his guard.

Lee working for a triangle but Saber defends it easily.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saber is one step ahead there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Saber is stalling in the full guard.
Saber has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lee is proving hard to escape from.

Saber avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Saber is sitting in close to Lee's body. Lee has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Saber is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Saber is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lee.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Eric Lee!
