Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatty McJitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatty McJitsu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danilo Alves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fatty McJitsu! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves shoots in and bounces McJitsu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McJitsu is looking for a triangle but Alves pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McJitsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alves has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McJitsu has his foot on Alves's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alves works his way back into a safe position though. Alves knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McJitsu on the ground. McJitsu looks gassed! Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but McJitsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McJitsu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alves's guard. Alves is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. McJitsu advances position into side control! McJitsu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Alves is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McJitsu is controlling him well. McJitsu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McJitsu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Alves is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McJitsu asserts his dominance and retains side control. McJitsu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McJitsu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alves keeps working. Alves is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McJitsu is controlling him well. McJitsu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alves has escaped the position, nice work there. McJitsu tries to score with some ground and pound. Alves controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Alves tries to escape but McJitsu is in control. Alves on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alves tries to get out of the position. McJitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alves, who protects the arm well. McJitsu trying to control the position but Alves is working away. Alves is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Alves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McJitsu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McJitsu is trying to get an arm triangle but Alves is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fatty McJitsu dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Alves rushes McJitsu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McJitsu is trying to drag Alves to the mat but Alves just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Alves scores with a hook to the body. Alves tries a knee to the head but McJitsu blocks it.
Alves working some nice short punches in the clinch. Alves lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McJitsu backwards. McJitsu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Alves lands an elbow inside. A short right from Alves.
It looks like Fatty McJitsu has been cut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Alves. McJitsu can't get the takedown.
Danilo Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fatty McJitsu. A short right from Alves on the inside. A quick uppercut on the inside from Alves. Alves lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Alves breaks the clinch.
Alves throws a sloppy head kick and McJitsu moves out of range easily. Alves fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McJitsu, pushing him back against the cage. A short uppercut from Alves. Alves gets underhooks to prevent McJitsu's takedown attempt.
Alves lands with a short punch from the clinch.
McJitsu is breathing heavily. Alves jumps guard and drags McJitsu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. McJitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McJitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alves wants to stand and escape but McJitsu is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McJitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alves swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alves is looking to stand up but McJitsu isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McJitsu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Alves is looking to stand up but McJitsu isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Alves throws a leg kick but McJitsu sees it coming and moves out of range. Alves wants to clinch. Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McJitsu thows a left - swing and a miss! Alves has closed the distance and engaged McJitsu in a clinch.
McJitsu wants a takedown.
Alves lands a right hand. A quick uppercut on the inside from Alves. McJitsu fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A nice right hand lands inside from Alves. Alves breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McJitsu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alves doesn't manage to clinch there - McJitsu circles away.
McJitsu misses with a takedown attempt and Alves counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Alves. Alves lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. McJitsu avoids the elbow strike from Alves, against the cage.
Alves makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Alves scores with an uppercut up the middle. Alves jumps into guard, dragging McJitsu to the mat.
Alves keeping moving, preventing McJitsu from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McJitsu prevents Alves from getting back to his feet. McJitsu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. McJitsu wants to pass the guard but Alves is keeping the position. Alves is looking to stand up but McJitsu isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McJitsu with a lazy takedown attempt and Alves counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Alves. McJitsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alves tries to stand but McJitsu is controlling from the bottom. Alves trying to control the position from guard on top but McJitsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Danilo Alves dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Fatty McJitsu's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Alves looks to land a combination but McJitsu avoids it well. McJitsu gets caught flat footed, as Alves shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Alves tries to stand but McJitsu is controlling from the bottom. McJitsu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Alves rolls with it to try and escape but McJitsu cranks on the arm and Alves is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
