The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Gomes IV bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Echizen has his feet on Gomes IV's thighs here. He's pushed Gomes IV off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gomes IV screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
