Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenta Tottori! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Spike The Crusher! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Crusher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck with that takedown attempt from The Crusher. Tottori closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tottori sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. The Crusher defending well though. The Crusher is looking for a sweep. Tottori is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tottori will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tottori sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. The Crusher defending well though. Tottori throws an elbow but The Crusher slips to the side and avoids it well. The Crusher is looking for a sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The Crusher with a poor takedown and Tottori counters with a takedown into side control. The Crusher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
