Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Im Jerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber has chosen Ludacris - Act A Fool as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Im Jerk has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Im Jerk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Urijah Faber! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jerk swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Im Jerk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faber fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jerk avoids it really well and circles away. Faber staying out of range there. Faber slips a jab from Jerk. No luck for Faber with that takedown attempt. Jerk throws a big shot that misses. Faber misses with a wild combination.
Faber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jerk. Faber shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Faber showed some decent athleticism there. Jerk wants to get back to his feet.
Jerk is staying active underneath Faber, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Faber prevents Jerk from standing back up.
Faber seems to be working for a kimura but Jerk defends the submission attempt. Jerk is trying to stand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faber is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jerk sees it coming and defends easily. Faber looks gassed! Faber seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Faber tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jerk controls his leg. Jerk makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jerk throws a hook to the side of Faber's head but Faber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jerk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Faber sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jerk throws the left hand but Faber avoids the punch easily. Faber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jerk. Faber drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jerk is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Faber looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jerk is trying to buck Faber off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber tries for a kimura but Jerk is defending well. Jerk tries to escape but Faber is in control. Faber is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jerk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Faber trying to control the action but Jerk is working from the bottom. Jerk is pushing Faber's head away, looking to escape.
