Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Hostile Mass as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregory Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Jenkins! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell has a takedown stuffed. Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jenkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jenkins avoids the body shot from Bell.
Bell lands a nice shot to the body.
Bell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but Bell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Some wild striking there from Bell.
Bell throws a combination. Jenkins tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bell throws a right and a left that Jenkins avoids nicely. Jenkins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins is fending him off so far but Bell persists. Nope, Jenkins circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jenkins manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins is looking for a sweep. Bell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bell thows a huge punch but Jenkins dodges it nicely.

Bell seems to be looking for submissions.
Jenkins wants to get back to his feet. Jenkins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jenkins.

Bell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jenkins pinned against the cage. Jenkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenkins but Jenkins pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bell is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bell.

Bell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jenkins. Left hook, right uppercut from Bell. A punch combination from Bell misses. Bell throws a series of punches but Jenkins avoids them all with ease. Bell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bell is looking to chop away at Jenkins's legs. Bell swings for the body but Jenkins moves out of range.

Gregory Bell dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins is fending him off so far but Bell persists. Nope, Jenkins circles away and we're back to standing. Bell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jenkins's waist but Jenkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side. Bell throws a shot from downtown. Jenkins moves away and avoids it. Gregory Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jenkins. Jenkins stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins checks a leg kick nicely. Bell just misses with a punch to the body.
Jenkins slips a jab from Bell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jenkins as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jenkins avoids the body shot from Bell.
Bell is looking to wear down Jenkins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Bell.
Gregory Bell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bell tries to bum rush Jenkins with a series of wild strikes but Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell loads up on a big right hand but Jenkins slips the punch. Jenkins stuffs the takedown. Jenkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jenkins manages to avoid it. Bell throws out a loose jab but Jenkins uses good head movement to avoid it. Bell misses with a two punch combination.
Bell fails with the takedown and Jenkins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jenkins. Jenkins landing knees to the body.
Jenkins gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jenkins is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Jenkins unloading with bombs! Bell is working to get back to half guard.
Bell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bell tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins unloading with bombs! Bell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Jenkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bell is trying desperately to improve position. Jenkins working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Bell is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jenkins lands with some strikes. Oh Bell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee warns Bell that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bell looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins with good strikes from the mount here! A nice elbow there by Jenkins. Bell taking shots to the head. Jenkins scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Jenkins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jenkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bell is bucking up trying to escape but Jenkins cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jenkins is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bell is forced to tap! Great finish!
